Marty Apodaca

      Marty Apodaca first came to UNM in 2003. While pursuing his undergraduate degree in English, he worked at many diverse departments at UNM including El Centro de la Raza, Student Support Services, and the College Prep Program. Upon completing his bachelors, he worked as an Academic Adviser for the College Prep Program. Marty then transitioned to a Career Development Facilitator at Career Services and has found his niche in helping students, alumni, faculty, and staff develop and manage their careers. Marty is currently working on his Masters in Counseling at UNM and is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. Marty also carries certifications in administering and interpreting the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory. Currently, Marty is president of the New Mexico Career Development Association and president of UNM's Counseling Honor Society, Chi Sigma Iota.
